Gilbert, AZ :DPS needs help identifying hit-and-run driver at US-60 and Val Vista Drive on Saturday, July 4th 2015

Arizona’s Department of Public Safety is asking for the public’s help to locate the driver involved in a deadly hit and run crash on Saturday.At 9:35 p.m., two people riding a motorcycle turned onto the westbound US-60 ramp from South Val Vista Drive.The female passenger, identified as 27-year-old Maggie Ruiz, fell off andwas then reportedly hit by a grey sedan. The driver of the sedan left the scene without stopping, according to Bart Graves with DPS.After examining the debris, DPS Vehicle Crimes Unit believes the car was a 2014 or 2015 Toyota Corolla.
