Spencerport, NY : Four people are injured in a multi-vehicle crash near Rochester on Tuesday, April 19th, 2016

Four people are recovering from injuries suffered when a fire truck with its emergency lights and sirens on was involved in a multi-vehicle crash outside Rochester.

The Spencerport Fire Department rig, a utility truck with a small water tank used mainly for grass fires, was responding to a house fire Monday evening when the crash occurred. It was hit by a car at an intersection and spun around, striking an SUV

and then flipping onto its side.

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports (http://on.rocne.ws/1Vg9pC8 ) the firefighter suffered minor injuries. Three other people involved in the crash were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not non-life-threatening.
