Terre Haute, IN : 1 injured, driver arrested in ATV crash in Greene County on Saturday, July 16, 2016

A Greene County man was arrested this weekend following a crash that seriously injured his passenger, police said.

After 11 p.m. Saturday, emergency dispatchers received a call from a man reporting he was involved in an all-terrain vehicle crash and that someone was injured, according to the Indiana DNR Law Enforcement.

A 2003 Polaris four-wheel ATV driven by Jarred M. Conolty, 31, Bloomfield, rolled backward while climbing a steep embankment, according to police.

Conolty's passenger, 34-year-old Alicia Nelson of Bloomfield, sustained serious blunt force trauma injuries to her face, lacerations and possible internal injuries, police said.
