Pasadena, TX : Fatal motorcycle crash occurs on Genoa Red Bluff on Monday, 29th August, 2016

A man died early Monday after his motorcycle collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Genoa Red Bluff and Space Center Boulevard.
Houston police are investigating the crash that occurred at 3500 Genoa Red Bluff just after midnight.According to police, witnesses reported seeing three motorcycles driving at a high rate of speed eastbound on Genoa Red Bluff past the red light at the intersection at Space Center.
Police say two motorcyclists cleared the intersection while the third, riding a black Kawasaki Ninja, struck a Kia Optima that was traveling through a green light.
The 29-year old motorcyclist was transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police said the driver of the Kia was questioned and released and showed no signs of being intoxicated.
The identity of the man who died is being withheld pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
