PULASKI, TN : A 17-year-old girl is dead and another man hospitalized after a head-on collision on May, Monday 1st 2017

A 17-year-old girl is dead and another man hospitalized after a head-on collision in Giles County Monday afternoon.

According to Tennessee Highway Patrol, she was driving to work when the crash happened on Minor Hill Highway in Pulaski.

The girl was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was transported to Vanderbilt via helicopter.

Officials say there were no signs of impairment at the scene, but they will conduct full tests soon.

According to the male driver at the scene, he was reaching down to grab something and got distracted from the road.

There is no information on possible charges at this time.
