Collier County, FL : A single-vehicle crash on I-75 in Collier County on Wednesday, 1st April, 2020

A Lake Mary woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Collier County early Wednesday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Shemayah Duncan, 34, died from injuries suffered in the crash after she was transported to Physicians Regional Pine Ridge. She was not wearing a seatbelt, which occurred about 12:45 a.m. while Duncan was traveling north on the entrance ramp at mile marker 105 north of Golden Gate Parkway, according to troopers.

For unknown reasons, her Toyota Camry veered off the entrance ramp to the left, overturned and crossed all northbound lanes of traffic on I-75.

Duncan was ejected from the vehicle, according to the crash report.
