CHICAGO, IL : 22-year-old man hospitalized and his car totaled in Norwood Park on Saturday, 20th January 2024

An overnight rollover crash left a 22-year-old man hospitalized and his car totaled in Norwood Park.

It happened around 4 a.m. on Sunday in the 6100 block of North Elston Avenue.

The victim was traveling northbound on Milwaukee Avenue in a 4-door sedan when he struck a concrete median – causing the car to roll over, police said.

The front and back of the car were crunched in because of the crash. Its engine was left several feet away on the road.

The victim was taken to Lutheran General Hospital where his condition was stabilized.
