Major County ,OK :49 - Years old Roger David Simons ejected from the truck during the rollover on Saturday ,April 11th 2015
A man died in an accident on U.S. 60 2 miles east of State Highway 8 in Major County.
About 7:45 a.m. Saturday, Roger David Simons, 49, was driving west on U.S. 60 when the driver of a 1993 Dodge pickup truck failed to yield at a stop sign, according to a report. Simons' vehicle, a 2012 Dodge pickup, drove into a ditch and rolled over 1 1/2 times.
He was ejected from the truck during the rollover.
Simons was taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Enid before being flown to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. The flight to Tulsa was diverted to Stillwater Medical Hospital due to Simons' declining condition, according to the report.
Simons was pronounced dead at Stillwater Medical Hospital.
The driver of the second car was taken to Integris Bass Baptist Hospital, where he was treated and released.
