GOOCHLAND COUNTY, VA : Newport News mom dies after DUI driver crashes into her vehicle in Goochland County on Thursday, 14th March 2024

A Newport News woman has died after a crash ejected her and her son from their car in Central Virginia.

Virginia State Police (VSP) said they responded to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 64 westbound at the 170-mile marker in Goochland County on Thursday around 10:35 p.m.

30-year-old Darien Boutchyard of North Carolina was driving a 2010 Dodge Challenger at high speed and struck a 2019 Chevrolet Spark in the rear, according to VSP.
