Steele, N.D : Two Steele residents injured in a two-pickup truck crash in Kidder County on Wednesday evening, May 18, 2016
Two Steele men were injured in a two-pickup truck crash one mile west of Steele Wednesday evening, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Matthew Biegler, 37, was driving a 1988 Ford pickup truck east on County Road 10 around 6:05 p.m.
Johnny Binder, 70, was driving a 2001 Mazda pickup truck behind the Ford.
The patrol said the Mazda rear-ended the Ford, causing the Ford to roll on the roadway. Biegler, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. It was not known if Binder was wearing a seat belt.
Both men were injured and were transported by Kidder County Ambulance and Sanford Air Medical to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The Kidder County Sheriff’s Office and Steele Fire Department also responded to the accident scene.
