BLUFFTON, SC : Two killed in I-75 accident on Sunday, 10th February 2019

Two Findlay residents were killed and a third person was seriously injured in a car-truck accident Sunday night on Interstate 75, north of Bluffton, the Findlay post of the State Highway Patrol reported.

According to the patrol, Benjamin Wallen, 25, of Findlay, was driving a 2013 Kia Forte south on Interstate 75, about a mile south of the Ohio 103 exit, at 6:14 p.m. when he lost control of the car.

The car went off the left side of the roadway, crossed the median and was struck by a northbound tractor-trailer driven by Martin Sparks, 64, of Fayetteville, Ohio, the patrol said.

After impact, the truck went off the roadway, striking several trees and a fence.
