FAYETTEVILLE, NC : Two ATV drivers left injured friend behind after wreck on Thursday, October 5, 2017

Authorities say they are looking for the drivers of at least two all-terrain vehicles who appear to have left a critically injured friend behind after a wreck in North Carolina.

Fayetteville Police said 43-year-old Jermaine Morrison was thrown from his ATV after the 7 p.m. Thursday wreck on a Fayetteville street and remains in critical condition at the hospital.

Police say they have evidence at least two other ATVs were riding along with Morrison, but no one stayed behind to talk to officers after the wreck.

Police in a statement initially said they were worried the other drives might be seriously injured. They said Friday they need help with their investigation into how the crash happened.
