Pepin, WI : Minnesota man killed in Pepin crash on Wednesday, 5th September 2018

A Minnesota man was killed night after his vehicle struck a tree in Pepin, Pepin police Chief Jesse Van Alstine said Wednesday.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was David M. Johnston, 60, of Faribault.

Van Alstine said the crash occurred at 11:35 p.m. Monday on Highway 35, near Oakwood Street.

Johnston had to be extricated from the vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation, Van Alstine said.
