Union,NC : Three dead in car crash in Union County on November, Thursday 16th 2017

Three people have died after a collision in Union County, according to law enforcement sources.

The crash happened at the intersection of US-601 and Sikes Mill Road.

Highway Patrol said that a car ran off the road, overturned and crashed into a utility pole and a tree.

Rescue crews were on the scene and US-601 is shut down.

The victims have not been identified.and no further information has been released.
