ANDERSON, SC : Coroner identifies driver in deadly Anderson Co crash on Saturday, 5th October 2024

The Anderson County Coroner’s Office is responding to the scene of a fatal collision on Saturday afternoon.

The crash occurred on the Highway 24 bridge over Lake Hartwell near Wham Road around noon.

The coroner said two vehicles were involved and one person was killed in the wreck.

Anderson County coroner Greg Shore has identified the victim as 67-year-old Sandra Yates of Townville.
