PHOENIX, AZ : 1 killed after crash leaves vehicle split in half on transition ramp in west Phoenix on Sunday, 13th October 2024

One person is dead after a crash on a busy transition ramp in the West Valley early Sunday morning.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the single-vehicle crash happened on the northbound lanes of Loop 202 South Mountain to I-10 eastbound transition ramp in west Phoenix around 6 a.m. Troopers confirmed one person has died.

The victim was the only one inside the vehicle at the time of the collision.
