Jacksonville, FL : Pedestrian struck in hit-and-run crash on 103rd Street Monday evening, December 12, 2016

A pedestrian was injured after being struck in a hit-and-run crash on 103rd Street Monday evening, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Fire rescue crews were called to 8544 103rd Street at 5:45 p.m. on reports of a major crash with injuries, fire officials said.

Troopers said one person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash caused authorities to block eastbound traffic lanes on 103rd Street, troopers said.
