Baltimore, MD : An Owings Mills man died after a crash early morning crash at Interstate 695 On Sunday, August 21st, 2016
An Owings Mills man died after a crash early Sunday on Baltimore's beltway, Maryland State Police said.
The crash occurred at 3:04 a.m. on the inner loop of Interstate 695 in the area of Interstate 95 near Catonsville.
Terrod Raymond Roberts, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene by fire officials after the 2002 Ford truck he was driving rear-ended a 2002 Honda Odyssey van that was stopped in the roadway with no lights on, according to
a news release from state police.
The driver of the parked van, a 38-year-old man, was arrested at the scene "for the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol," police said. State police said a breath test indicated the man had a blood alcohol
concentration of .11 — beyond the state's legal limit. He had not been charged as of Sunday morning, police said.
The crash is under investigation, police said.
