Monroe,MI : Mom in car crash on may, Friday 12th 2017

A man who was upset that his mother was in a car accident at E. Second and Navarre Sts. Friday night waved a baseball bat and threatened people who tried to help her before he was arrested.
Monroe police and firefighters responded to the scene of a rollover accident about 8 p.m. and spotted the man yelling at some people on the terrace. The man, 31, apparently accused the witnesses of harming his mother.
Reports said the witnesses tried to tell the man that his mother was driving a car that struck a parked vehicle and rolled over. They said they were trying to help her. However the man felt otherwise and kept waving the bat.
Police took him in custody and lodged him in the county jail on felonious assault charges.
