BILLERICA, MA : 2 injured in Billerica crash on Thursday, December 8th, 2016
Two people were injured Thursday morning after their vehicle struck a utility pole and damaged a hydrant on Route 4, police said.
Two males, ages 28 and 17, were transported to Lowell General Hospital. The extent of their injuries are unknown.
The single-car crash at 257 Nashua Road -- between Outlook and Riveredge roads -- has led to traffic delays on Route 4. Police have opened up southbound traffic, but northbound was still shut down at 9:15 a.m., an hour after the crash.
National Grid and the town's water department are on scene for repairs.
The crash remains under investigation.
