The Cambridge post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol continued to investigate a one-vehicle, rollover accident on Interstate 70 Saturday night that injured a female
motorist and her young child.
Neither the names of the victims nor the extent of their injuries were available as of press time Monday.
The unidentified mother and child were reportedly out of the overturned vehicle when emergency responders arrived at the scene near mile post 192 in western Guernsey
County.
Medical personnel from the Old Washington Volunteer Fire Department and United Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.
According to reports, the accident was reported at 10:09 p.m. via an emergency 911 call to the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office. The caller reported a sport-utility
vehicle was on its top in a ditch approximately 50 feet off the interstate.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers, United Ambulance personneother and child werel and Old Washington firefighters and medical personnel were dispatched to the scene.
Information regarding how the accident occurred was not available as of press time.
The SUV reportedly suffered extensive damage.
