Austintown, OH : Donald Stephenson III, 37, died in crash on I-80 near state Route 46 in Austintown on Sunday, Nov 8, 2015

A Boardman man was killed and a Campbell man injured when the car in which they were riding was side-swiped by a tractor-trailer that made an improper lane change on Interstate 80 near state Route 46 just after

7 p.m. Saturday.

The driver of the car, Donald Stephenson III, 37, of Boardman, died at about

5 a.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital of injuries suffered in the crash. A passenger in the car, Juan Miranda of Campbell, also injured, was still in the hospital Sunday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Canfield Post.

The driver of the truck, Israel Chamizo of Doral, Fla., was not injured.

As of Sunday, the crash remained under investigation by the OSHP, and no charges had been filed.
