North Las Vegas, NV : Three killed in fiery crash on 215 Beltway in North Las Vegas on Monday morning, November 17, 2014
Authorities say they suspect alcohol was a factor in a fiery morning crash in North Las Vegas that left three people dead.
Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel says the crash happened at about 5 a.m. Monday on the 215 Beltway between Aliante Parkway and North 5th Street. Traffic was closed in the area in both directions after the incident.
Stuenkel says a four-door Mazda sedan crossed the center median and hit a Cadillac SUV, which went up in flames.
She says two people in the SUV were killed, and the driver of the Mazda also died.
Stuenkel says at least two males were among the dead, but further details on the victims weren't immediately available.
