Newport News, VA : Motorcyclist dies after crash in Virginia Beach on Tuesday evening, March 7, 2017

A motorcyclist died after hitting a parked car Tuesday evening, according to Virginia Beach police spokeswoman Linda Kuehn.

The crash happened about 5:20 p.m. on General Booth Boulevard at Dam Neck Station Road, where the motorcyclist was driving northbound, Kuehn said in a news release. The motorcyclist changed lanes between traffic and subsequently crashed into a car that was stopped on the road, Kuehn said.
