Montgomery, AL : Alleged thief holds up market, fatally crashes into building on Tuesday, 25th October 2016

An alleged robber in Alabama raided a market and then drove his car into an old, brick building and died, a post to the Fort Payne Times-Journal reports.

The unidentified man crashed his car into the Quinn Building after allegedly robbing the South End Market, according to the newspaper.

As of Tuesday morning, when the photo of the crash emerged on social media, Ford Payne Police and Fire Departments are on the scene investigating.

The Facebook post advises drivers to take an alternate route.

One Facebook commenter wrote, “Came through town about 4:50 this morning saw the car couldn’t believe it happened...it’s sad when someone dies over a bad choice they made.”

Ford Payne Police did not return a call for comment.
