BOXFORD, MA : Boy, 7, critically injured in Boxford crash on Monday, 25th June 2018

A 7-year-old boy suffered life-threatening injuries when a car crashed into a tree near 10 Killam Hill Road Monday morning, fire officials said.

An adult woman driver and a girl, under 10 years old, were also injured in the crash. It was not immediately clear how the three victims are related.

Boxford fire Chief Brian Geiger said crews responded to a single-car crash into a tree around 10:30 a.m. on a stretch of Route 97 near Interstate 95. The driver and the two children were the only occupants in the car.
