MARION COUNTY, OR : 5 hospitalized after crash in Marion County on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024

Five people were hurt in a crash that happened in Marion County early Tuesday morning.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office posted on X at about 6:14 a.m. that crews were on scene of a serious two-vehicle crash on River Road Northeast at Waconda Road Northeast. The sheriff’s office says five people were taken to Salem Hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not know at this time.

Neither speed nor impairment are factors in the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
