Norfolk, VA : 3 people in custody in Virginia Beach after stolen car crashes on Thursday, December 8th 2016

Three people are in custody after a driver crashed a stolen vehicle and ran from police Thursday night.

Police said around 8:30 p.m., an officer attempted to stop a vehicle in the 1100 block of Virginia Beach Blvd. The driver crashed the vehicle and attempted to escape.

There were no injuries.

It was found that the vehicle was stolen out of Baltimore, Md.

Police said there are three people in custody.

The incident is under investigation.
