Ray Township ,MI : Two drivers killed after head-on collision in Ray Township on saturday ,June 6th 2015

Macomb County police say that two drivers were killed Saturday in a head-on crash that happened on 29 Mile Road in Ray Township.

A 2006 GMC flatbed truck was driving westbound on 29 Mile Road when it ran off the roadway and overcorrected into the eastbound lanes. Police say the truck collided with a 2012 Freightliner box truck traveling eastbound on 29 Mile Road near Wolcott Road at around 11:10 a.m.

Both drivers were killed instantly in the crash, according to authorities.

The flatbed truck hit an electrical pole and became heavily tangled in electrical wires.

There were no passengers in either truck.
