Bullhead City,AZ : Ramar Road crash injures woman, three children on April, Sunday 8th 2018
A single-vehicle crash late Sunday resulted in all four people requiring medical care. Three of the four people involved are children of the adult driver who, along with a 5-year-old girl, was airlifted from Western Arizona Regional Medical Center to Las Vegas-area hospitals for further treatment. Emergency crews responded to the crash site near the intersection of Lakeside Drive and Ramar Road at 10:50 p.m. Sunday to find a black Dodge Ram 1500 with four people inside. The driver, Nohemi Diaz, 31, of Bullhead City, was traveling west on Ramar when she hit a tree. Her three daughters also were in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The two older girls, ages 12 and 14, were treated at WARMC and released. Diaz was transferred to University Medical Center of Southern Nevada; her 5-year-old daughter was flown to Sunrise Children’s Hospital. According to the Bullhead City Police Department, none of people inside the vehicle had on seat belts. The Arizona Department of Child Safety was notified about the youths not wearing seat belts. The accident remains under investigation by the Bullhead City Police Department.
