Little Rock, AR : Green Forest woman dies in crash on Wednesday, January 4th 2017

A Green Forest woman died Wednesday after she crossed the center line on Arkansas 103 and hit another car head-on, the Arkansas State Police reported.

Mandi Chaney, 50, was pronounced dead at the scene, which occurred north of Rudd at 2 p.m., police said.

Roland Severs, 59, a passenger in the car, was transported to Mercy in Berryville. His injuries are unknown.

Police said Severs’ car crossed the center line, traveling south into incoming traffic. It collided with another vehicle’s driver-side headlight in the north lane, police said. Chaney was partially ejected, according to the report.
