Enid, OK : Woman injured in two-car collision on Friday morning, July 8, 2016

A two-car collision occurred Friday morning, with one injury reported, blocking lanes of traffic on Oakwood and Randolph as emergency responders worked the scene.

Walla Eckhardt, driving a black 2011 Ford Fusion, said he was hit by Bot Nguyen, driving a silver 2010 Honda Odyssey, as he was driving through the intersection, according to Enid Police Department.

Nguyen said he was following the vehicle in front of him and didn’t check the light before driving into the intersection, according to the report.

Witnesses said they saw Nguyen run the red light and collide with Eckhardt.

Eckhardt was transported to Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center by Life EMS for possible leg/internal body injuries, according to the report.
