Police are investigating an accident around noon Saturday involving a riding lawn mower and a dump truck.
The 81-year-old driver of the lawn mover suffered serious injuries when the mower and the truck collided on Thompson Road. The man was taken by the Hubbardston Fire Department ambulance to UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus in Worcester for treatment.
