Wellsville, NY : Two persons injured in a Wellsville Central School District bus crash at Williams Avenue on Tuesday, April 19th, 2016

The Wellsville Police Department issued a press release on this afternoon's accident involving a Wellsville Central School District bus:
"On April 19, at 3:24 p.m. the Wellsville Police responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash on Williams Avenue which involved a Wellsville Central School bus. The initial investigation determined that a vehicle driven by Rose Dahar, 86, of

Wellsville, backed out of a private driveway and into the side of the school bus, which was traveling south and being operated by Colleen Kear, 52, of Wellsville," police said.
"The bus was occupied by approximately two dozen elementary school-aged kids. Dahar and one student were transported by ambulance to Jones Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries," police said. "Assisting at the scene were

ambulances from Wellsville, Amity and Andover, the Wellsville Rescue Squad and the Wellsville Fire Department. Charges are pending."
