Aiken, S.C : One man injured in a two-car collision on York Street on Wednesday afternoon, June 29, 2016
Aiken Department if Public Safety officers were called Wednesday afternoon to a two-car collision on York Street that left one man injured.
The driver of a beige Cadillac was driving up York Street in the left lane when a man walked out in front of the vehicle causing the driver to swerve into the right lane, hitting another driver in a red Ford, according to an Aiken Public Safety Officer on the scene.
Both cars collided in front of the gas station at 502 York St.
The male passenger in the red Ford was the only one injured in the accident. He suffered from a minor leg injury, police said.
A girl involved in the incident was checked out by EMS for shock, but she was uninjured.
Officers also reported the man who was walking across the road was uninjured in the incident.
