Augusta, GA : Cyclist killed in crash on the 1900 Block of Broad Street on Thursday, 9th April, 2020

A man was killed in a collision with a vehicle while riding his bicycle on Broad Street on Thursday.

According to Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen, DeOndrae Arrington, 43, was riding his bike north on Lockhart Lane when he failed to stop at the intersection with Broad Street and struck the side of a westbound vehicle on the 1900 Block of Broad Street.

He was pronounced dead due to blunt force trauma at 4:20 p.m., Bowen said.

No autopsy will be performed.
