An accident in Lexington County has caused traffic congestion on I-26.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, two right eastbound lanes on I-26 near mile marker 107 are closed following a collision.The Department of Transportation is reminding motorists to expect delays on all interstate throughout South Carolina.
If you are involved in an accident with no injuries, the state law requires you to move the vehicle from the roadway to avoid blocking traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route if they are headed in that direction.
