HOLYOKE, MA : Holyoke crash closes part of Rt. 202 on Sunday, 16th February, 2020

Route 202 has been closed for most of the day after a motorist struck a pole and knocked it down.

The crash occurred at about 4 a.m., Sunday. The female driver was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered serious. She was alone in the car and no one else was involved in the crash, said Police Sgt. Jim Bartolomei.

The road is closed between the two ends of Apremont Highway until workers can make repairs to the pole and attached wires, he said.
