BIRMINGHAM, AL : Deadly motorcycle accident closes street in downtown Birmingham on Wednesday, 19th June 2019

Officials said the green Camaro hit a motorcycle on Third Avenue North. The motorcycle driver was injured. While both vehicles were stopped, a third vehicle pulled up behind the Camaro. People in the third vehicle got out and assaulted the driver of the Camaro, then drove off and left the driver of the Camaro in the road.

An off duty officer driving down Third Avenue North ran over the driver of the Camaro. Crews arrived and pronounced the driver dead at the scene. The motorcycle driver was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to be ok.

The Camaro was found burned up in Fairfield.

Police are looking for two suspects in this case.
