Monessen, PA : Latrobe woman, 43, dies after Unity crash on Tuesday, 10th April 2018

A Latrobe woman died after the car she was driving hit a tree in Unity Township on Tuesday afternoon.

Colleen F. Buccigrossi, 43, of Latrobe, was traveling east on Beatty County Road near Saint Vincent Drive before 2 p.m. on Tuesday when her car crossed into the opposing lane, left the roadway and hit a tree.

Buccigrossi was taken to Excela Latrobe Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 2:20 p.m.

Buccigrossi was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Westmoreland County coroner's office.
