Otter Tail County, MN : West Fargo man seriously hurt in motorcycle crash in Otter Tail County on Friday, 28th September 2018

A West Fargo man was seriously injured Friday when his motorcycle hit a deer on Highway 108 in Otter Tail County.

Nathan Everett Brines, 42, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia Hospital in Fargo.


According to the State Patrol, he was eastbound on Highway 108 near County Road 30 when his 1992 Harley-Davidson XL2 hit a deer in the roadway. He was not wearing a helmet. No alcohol was involved in the crash, according to the State Patrol.

The accident was reported at 8:12 p.m. on dry pavement in Norwegian Grove Township. The Pelican Rapids Police Department and Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
