Walla Walla, WA : Man dies after fatal collision on Highway 12 in Walla Walla county early Monday morning, September 26, 2016

A man is dead after a car collision on Highway 12 in Walla Walla county early Monday morning.

Logan Thompson, 21, was driving eastbound on the highway around 1:30 a.m. when he crossed the centerline into westbound traffic.

Thompson who is from Hartline, WA hit a semi truck and died on scene.

A trooper with the Washington State Patrol says drugs and alchohol were not involved.

The cause is still under investigation at this time.
