Sumter County,FL : Fatal crash in Sumter County on July, Monday 3rd 2017

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash.
A driver was traveling southbound on County Road 470 approaching County Road 300 when she entered the emergency stopping lane on Monday morning.

Driver succumbed to fatal injuries
The Ford Ranger motorist, identified as Kellie Marie Powel, collided with a concrete barrier for unknown reasons, said investigators.

The vehicle rotated and came to a final stop in the northbound lane of County Road 470.

The 25-year-old driver succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene. Trooper said she was wearing a seat belt.
