WESH 2 News spoke with the loved ones of the family killed in a fiery wreck on West Colonial Drive.
A toddler and her parents died Tuesday morning.
Family members said they want answers.
"I just couldn't believe it, couldn't believe it, you know?" Raymond Anderson said.
The family is still in shock, and trying to process what happened.
Around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, a car crashed into a tree and burst into flames.
Family members told WESH 2 News that a woman, her boyfriend and their 3-year-old daughter were killed.
"And I was telling my wife, 'Did you see the car we just passed by? It was split in half,' and so I called my mom," Terrell Anderson said.
Terrell Anderson passed by the wreck and had a horrible feeling when he saw what was left of the car.
"I just turned around. I already knew. I knew it was them," Terrell Anderson said, adding that the couple had just dropped two other kids off at school and were on their way home.
When other relatives heard what happened, they rushed to the scene.
Witnesses said the car was going extremely fast before it ran off the road.
Loved ones said the whole family is hurting, and now they have to tell the other children why their parents and little sister aren't coming home.
People in the community are paying their respects and remembering the family. Terrell Anderson said he hopes investigators can find answers to all of his questions.
