Baltimore County, MD : 26-year-old pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run accident in Middle River on Sunday, December 27, 2015

A 26-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Middle River Sunday, police said.

At around 6:30 p.m. Baltimore County police received a call about a man lying along the shoulder of Pulaski Highway, near Martin Boulevard.

Police identified the victim as Andrew James McNeal and said he was declared dead shortly after being discovered.

Investigators believe McNeal was struck as he was walking along Pulaski Highway and that the car involved in the crash fled the scene. Police describe the car as silver or gray with front-end damage.
