Union County, PA : Two men injured in crash in Lewis Township on Monday, April 11, 2016
Two men were injured in a crash just before 10 p.m. Monday in Lewis Township, Union County, according to State Police at Milton.
Police said Stephen Shive, 27, of Mifflinburg was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt when he lost control on an uphill right hand curve on Jones Mountain Road. The car left the roadway and hit a large rock and then struck a tree.
Niether Shive nor passenger Jacob A. Kistler, 25, of Lewisburg were wearing seatbelts, police said. Shive suffered a moderate injury. Kistler was ejected from the car and suffered a leg injury, according to police.
Both were taken to Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg.
According to Evangelical Hospital, Shive was treated and released from care while Kistler was transferred to another hospital. Evangelical did not release the name of the hospital.
