Milwaukee ,WI :19-year-old male driver killed and passenger Seriously injured after Single Vehicle Crash on Sunday morning ,May 3 2015

A young man was killed and a boy was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in the 2500 block of N. 36th St. in Milwaukee, authorities said.

Police said a 1999 GMC Jimmy was speeding southbound when it left the road and struck a tree at about 7:15 a.m., killing the unlicensed 19-year-old male driver.

An 11-year-old boy who was a passenger in the vehicle was taken to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for treatment of serious injuries, police said.

No further information on the identities of the victims was immediately available as Milwaukee police investigate.
