IRMO, SC : 1 dead following crash in Irmo on Thursday, 11th January 2024

A Columbia woman is charged in connection with a car crash in Irmo where one person died.Chelsie B. Pittman, 31, is charged with felony driving under the influence, resulting in death; habitual offender, causing death when license has been canceled, suspended or revoked; and driving under suspension, third or subsequent offense.

The crashed happened around 10:30 p.m. Thursday on the 1300 block of Lake Murray Blvd. near Kroger.
