El Paso, TX : Three people killed and two others injured in a truck wreck on a private road in El Paso on Saturday, January 2, 2016
Three people killed after a rollover in Far East El Paso have been identified.
It happened on the 2700 block of Jobe Road just before 6 p.m. Saturday.
The passengers killed have been identified as 66-year old Johnny Borrego, 59-year old Ivan Guerrero and 58-year old Ruben Betancourt Ramirez. 71-year old Jose Gabino Garcia is in critical condition and 57-year old Humberto Muela is in stable condition.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says a red F-150 traveling westbound on Jobe Rd. failed to maneuver a left-hand curve and drove over an embankment causing the truck to rollover.
Borrego and Guerrero died on scene as a result of their injuries. Muela, Garcia and Ramirez were transported to local area hospital, where Ramirez was pronounced dead.
No other information regarding the passengers is available at this time.
Special Traffic Investigators, CID, and Crime Scene investigators responded.
Jobe Road is a private roadway, and not open to the public.
