Boone County, MO : 2 hurt in US 63 crash on U.S. 63 northbound, just north of Zumwalt Road on Monday, 22nd October 2018

Two people were hurt in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning in Boone County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred on U.S. 63 northbound, just north of Zumwalt Road, around 8:42 a.m.

Tallulah Penserum, 18, of Jefferson City, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Montie Stiers, 50, of Columbia, as Stiers was attempting to merge onto the road. This caused both vehicles to go off the road and Stiers' vehicle to overturn.

Penserum and Stiers both had minor injuries. Penserum was treated for her injuries, but Stiers refused treatment. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
